Old Grocery House

Our home is a delightful mid Victorian townhouse, in the heart of Melrose. A short walk from the Abbey and amazing views of the Eildon Hills. We have 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - all decorated to a very high standard. During Cov-19 we have decided to only let one of our 3 bedrooms at a time, unless all 3 rooms are taken by the same family group and shared facilties would not be an issue. Otherwise you can be assured that if you book one room you will have private facilties. The rooms all have tea/coffee making facilities and TVs. We have a lovely dining room, where guests are welcome to sit and read their newspapers or listen to the radio. We have wifi and a very good knowledge of the local area. Melrose is the best kept secret in the Scottish Borders. We are right on the High Street, close to all the amenities. It's a great base for walking St Cuthberts Way, climbing the Eildons or visiting Abbotsford House amongst many other places. We now have a train line which will take you directly to Edinburgh and good bus links to take you throughout the Scottish Borders. Our two very well behaved dogs are called Molly (chocolate lab) and Flora (West Highland Terrier).
