Welcome to our lovely cottage in the beautiful village of Ditchling at the foot of the South Downs. Voted one of the UKs most beautiful villages. Located In the heart of the National Park, Ditchling is the perfect base for walking the south downs and cycling the country lanes of Sussex. For foodies, we have two Gastro Pubs in walking distance, two tea rooms, a farm shop selling local produce and three Vineyards! For days out further afield, we are 15 mins from Brighton and 55 mins from London. Mulberry Barn is a spacious three bedroom cottage. The cottage is all on one level and has two large, comfortable bedrooms with king sized beds. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances. Outside Mulberry Barn the cottage has its own private lawned area and a private courtyard. Mulberry Barn has its own private parking area with enough space for four cars. Once you have arrived here, you may choose not to use your car at all as the village is only a 5 minute walk away. We are 30 minutes walk (or 5 minute drive) to the local train station with direct links to Brighton, Gatwick Airport, London Victoria and London Bridge. Both electric and leg powered bikes are available for hire locally. Brighton is approx 15 mins away by car. Mulberry Barn is set back from a lovely quiet rural lane in the downland village of Ditchling. Mulberry Barn has a private parking area for up to four cars. Once here you may not want to use your car again! We are 5 minutes from the centre of the village and its many ammenities. Our local station is 30 mins walk (or 5 mins drive) with direct and easy access to Brighton, Gatwick, London Victora and London Bridge. For days out in Brighton, we are approx 15 mins drive from Brighton and its beaches. Both electric and pedal powered bikes are available for hire in the neighbouring village of Hassocks (15 mins walk).
