Our 4 spacious cottages, set in a large garden with a heated pool and games room, are ideal for large groups of friends or family to enjoy time together whilst retaining private space. Reduced tariffs sometimes available for rental of 1,2 or 3 cottages. Details of the 4 cottages are below 1. Lily cottage Surface area:126m2 Capacity: 6 Ground floor: living room, entrance/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom (double bed), shower room with toilet. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (both with 2 single beds), shower room with toilet 2. Lavender Surface area: 107m2 Capacity: 7 Ground floor: living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom (bunk bed for 2 people), shower room with toilet Upstairs: 1 bedroom (double bed), 1 bedroom (3 single beds) 3. Stables Surface area: 75m2 Capacité: 4 Ground floor: living room, fully equipped kitchen/diner Upstairs: 1 bedroom (double bed), 1 bedroom (2 single beds), bathroom with shower and toilet 4. Forge Surface area: 58m2 Capacity: 2/4 Ground floor: living room (option to put in sofa bed for 2 people), 1 bedroom (double bed), fully equipped kitchen/diner, shower room with toilet Each property has its own patio/garden and we also provide additional outdoor tables and chairs so large groups can sit down together. If the weather is bad, the entrance/dining area in Lily can seat large groups and additional tables are provided. Guests who book all 4 properties will have exclusive use of the pool, large garden, indoor games room and table tennis. We live on the property in a separate building. We speak English and some French. We live in a peaceful village in rural France. Local facilities are available 2.5km away in Villefagnan which has bakers, butcher, grocery shops, bar, restaurant and small twice weekly market. Villefagnan also has a swimming lake with a sandy beach, play area and seasonal lifeguard. We would also be happy to provide details of the attractions in the area. A car is essential for exploring the local area. We have free wifi on site (in the games room and In Gite Rose) but it is not available in all the gites. An additional charge consisting of a tourist tax of 0,40 euros per adult per night is payable on arrival (under 18s are excluded) Interesting day trips include Futuroscope, Valley of the Monkeys, Cognac and Angouleme. Bookings in July and August are for 1 week minimum, usually Saturday to Saturday. Outside this period, bookings are for 2 nights minimum. The gites can also be rented individually.
