1700 sq. ft. for you to enjoy your stay in Derby City. Three bedrooms, each with it's own full bath and a sofa bed that will sleep 2 more if needed. The 3rd bdrm, is being used as an office now, but we will put in a nice air mattress if 3rd bdrm privacy is needed. Our goal is to create a clean and welcome home that you will find comfy with everything you need. You will have the luxury of having our home all to yourself. Derby lights up Louisville andthere are so many events to attend. Relax in the vaulted great room or screened in patio. Both master bedrooms offer complete privacy with full baths. 3rd full bath is off the great room. Make yourself at home in the kitchen which has microwave, toaster, double oven, air fryer and ice maker. Living room has a hide-a-bed that can sleep 2 more people. Enjoy a short walk to the neighborhood creek. We will be there when you arrive to show you around and will be close by if you need something. You will have access to complete home except the garage. The screened patio and backyard with rock garden is open for your enjoyment. You'll love the convenience of being less than 10 minutes away from two malls, 15-20 minutes to major Louisville attractions and the Louisville Airport. Quaint Westport Village is about 1/2 mile from our place, you will enjoy several restaurants and unique shopping. We also offer additional services (extra cost) to include transportation to and from Derby, restaurants, places of interest and/or home cooked Southern style breakfast. The neighborhood is located in what is generally called the East End of Louisville. Our quiet condo community has a large creek, full of happily spoiled ducks and geese. You may even see our neighborhood deer who love to hang out close to the creek. Conveniently located off I-264 (the Watterson) and within one mile of the I-64 interchange. 15 - 20 minutes to Churchill Downs normally, but may be a few minutes longer Derby week. 5 minutes to shopping, many restaurants within 5 miles, unique places of interest nearby. Transportation by cab, Uber, or we will arrange private transportation for you (extra cost). Spring is beautiful in Louisville. The city is know for it's restaurants, foodies love our city. If you come during Derby week, get ready for excitement everywhere. Derby week includes a balloon glow, balloon race, bed races, wine marathon competition, the great steamboat race on the river, Pegasus parade, chow wagons, music, parties and horse racing all week, including the Oaks on Friday and the granddaddy of them all, the Derby on Saturday.
