At Abelfields we take pride in our property, the environment and our animals, and are hugely passionate about working with nature, instead of against her. During your visit we encourage you to join us for our daily sheep walks, dog adventures, chicken feeding & egg collecting. We love to share stories and meet new people. Together we make a well balanced, fun, friendly and welcoming team. We'll give everything to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations. Our property is 4.5acres on the edge of Kaiapoi providing a relaxed and peaceful rural setting. With natives to wander through, hammocks to relax in or animals to enjoy you'll find your stay with us is unique and memorable. You have access to your own wing of the house with the your own bedroom and ensuite, lounge and upstairs chill out area with kitchenette. The kitchenette is where your continental breakfast will be ready for you. You can make a cuppa with all hot drink essentials provided as well as a toaster and double hot plate for cooking basic meals. The pool is there to be enjoyed. As we do run a separate swim business, FitandAbel, the pool won't always be available. However we will ensure there is availability during your stay if you are interested in swimming. We can provide swimming lessons/coaching at an additional cost. Kaiapoi township is approx 3km away. Feel free to use the two bikes available to explore the area, meander along the river or dine out at the great cafes/restaurants. The is also a bus stop opposite our entrance. Christchurch CBD or the Christchurch Airport are easily accessibly via the motorway, approx 20min drive.
