Marble Mountain Retreat

Surrounded by majestic mountains, crystal clear rivers, mountain lakes full of trout, breathtaking waterfalls, and some of the best 4 wheeling in Colorado. Marble truly has something for everyone. Here at the Marble Mountain Retreat you will find room for you, your friends and your family to enjoy all that Marble has to offer. The property is very private and quiet and gives the feel of being out of town while still being right in the heart of town. The house is located at the end of the road and borders Carbonite creek, the Crystal River is a 2 minute walk out the backdoor, Beaver lake is just a couple blocks away and the Slow Groovin BBQ is right around the corner! Several waterfalls and historic sites within walking or hiking distance. I built a slightly oversized fire pit in the backyard along with some horse shoe pits, a Webber BBQ grill for all your grilling needs and a bar top on the railing around the deck for meals outside! Plenty of space for all the cars you could need to park and an air compressor in the shop just in case. Inside the the main entrance is the coat and shoe room the kitchen dining room, full bathroom and a living room with enough seating for everyone( 3 of the couches are pull out sofas). Upstairs is the master bedroom with it's own full bathroom, king bed and balcony overlooking the backyard, and another room with a king bed. Down stairs is the bunk room with two bunk beds (full and twin mattresses), the entertainment room, climbing room( 1 twin mattress) and laundry room( has a queen mattress that can be pulled into the movie room for an extra bed or movie nights! All access to the property Kayaks and peddle boat. I can be reached by phone, text or email. There is no cell reception in Marble so I can only receive email and text through my wifi. This is a true paradise so full of beauty in every season, the winters can be a little crazy but the absolute peace and quite along with plenty of snow for playing in makes this valley a little piece of heaven for anyone who loves winter! The back deck is a great place for watching wildlife and listening to humming birds fly by fighting over the feeder. And once it gets to dark to play outside head down to the basement to watch some movies on Netflix or play some pool also have a little climbing wall set up for training. CLIMB AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! There really isn't any need for a car unless you want to go up the quarry road or hike to Milton falls. Other than than everything is a short walk or you can rent bikes or ATVs right down the road. Marble has no cell service and is 30 miles from a grocery store or a gas station, so make sure you come prepared so you don't have to make an extra trip to town. Being a 3 story house there are 4 sets of stairs including the front and back deck. Please no fires during the fire ban. And please bring your food inside at night, don't leave it in your car or you could be missing a door in the morning. I almost never see any bears because I give them no reason to come here do the same and you won't see them. Leave trash bags tied off and in the pantry to avoid having it spread all over the property. Not preaching just sharing some of the lessons I've learned so you don't have to deal with the same.
