Spacious apartment in the top-floor of my house with two beds (for three), own bathroom and tea-kitchen corner. Very close to public transport (tram station), 15min to the city, 20min to main station. Good connection to ZDF, hospitals, fairground, Frankfurt Airport. Autobahn (2km). Free Parking. WiFi. My house is placed close to the center of the state capital Mainz, as well as at the border to the Rheinhessen countryside. Access to their bright guestroom with own bath in the 2nd floor of my one-family-house. I would like to help my guests to find their places of interest in Mainz and the region. Mainz is located very central in the Rhine Valley between touristic highlights Heidelberg and Loreley. A good place to explore the Rhein-Main-Region. Good public transports, 2 km from the A60 Highway and close to Frankfurt Airport (Fraport). The suburb Hechtsheim is calm and has various restaurants and some very recommended wineries. Fairground with Festivals, Concerts ("Family Park") and Oktoberfest quite close, Wine-festivals in many villages around from late summer until autumn. The tram station to Mainz city and central station is located just 150 meters from the house door. From Frankfurt station/Frankfurt airport: Any train to Mainz central station (ICE extra-fee!), S-Bahn line S8 or RegionalExpress (30-40 min). Change in Mainz into tram line 50/51 , direction Hechtsheim Bürgerhaus, leave at endstation(17 min). Taxi from Airport to Mainz costs app. €65 (depending on the Taxi company).
