Guesthouse in Balatoncsicsó near Lake Balaton

Our guesthouse is located in the Nivegy Valley, in the village center of Balatoncsicsó, next to the Káli Basin. We are 7 minutes by car from Lake Balaton, 25 min from Tihany, 20 min from Tapolca Lake Cave. Formerly a farmhouse, the building has been renovated and features a lovely, well-kept garden and terrace. Elegant hideaway for families or for couples. The house has 3 bedrooms, a well-equipped, cosily furnished dining-kitchen and 2 bathrooms with shower. We also included the disinfection of frequently touched parts in our cleaning practice. The architecture and furnishings of our house reflect the atmosphere of the Balaton Uplands, which was once (and is still) the holiday place of the Hungarian nobility. An ideal place to create and retreat - you have the peace of mind and fast WiFi. You can also grill and sunbathe in the garden. The village has a shop, a pub and a roman catholic church. Guests have access to the garden, the dining kitchen, both rooms and the bathroom. We offer self check-in using a lockbox. I am available by phone all the time, but if possible or necessary, I am also happy to meet my guests. We usually offer help to orient guest to find the best places of the surroundings, restaurants, polpular tourist attractions, beautiful hidden places etc. If you need such information, contact us! Balatoncsicsó is a tiny village north of the lake Balaton. Its church was built in the XVIIIth century. Outside of the village, the ruins of the Balázs church and the Ároktő church ruins are popular excursion destinations. A new, asphalt road takes you to Monoszló (about 3 km), it is worth cycling. Here you can do excursions all year round: Dörgicse is 4km, Zánka beach 7 km, Nagyvázsony 9 km, Tihany 25 km, Kapolcs 21 km, Balatonfüred 24 km away. We live nearby, individual arrival / departure times are flexibly available on request. In addition to Hungarian, we also speak English and Spanish. If you have any questions, write to us! We will reply soon. Within 30 km of Balatoncsicsó there are 4 major cities: Veszprém, Tapolca, Balatonfüred and Ajka. By car, in 30 min you can reach Ajka Kristályfürdő ( it is a popular spa), Veszprém Zoo or Tapolca Lake Cave. Next train station is in Zánka (7 km). Bus station is near the house, but buses go unfruequently, you can go by bus towards Zánka or Nagyvázsony. (I would not recommend.) Please do not bring pets. However we welcome families with small children. The village shop is open on weekdays from 7 am till 7 pm and it has all the essentials.
