This apartment is comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. It has a bedroom with queen-size bed and a flat-screen TV, a dining room/kitchenette, as well as a beautiful outdoor area for meals/relaxation. Our friendly family lives next door and can provide any help and advice you may need. Just a few minutes walk to Oaklands park train station and Marion shopping centre, close to Flinders University and Medical Centre, it's convenient and homely! We provide maps of Adelaide and are happy to offer any help you may need to plan your trip and make your stay enjoyable. We are a family of avid travelers so if you feel like sharing your travel stories over a cup of tea, you're very welcome to! We're in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood (you can be sure to get a good night's sleep!) but close to everything, including: -7km to the Airport, -500m to Oaklands train station, -700m to Marion Westfield shopping centre (restaurants, cinemas, food court etc) and SA Aquatic centre, -12km to Adelaide CBD, -2km to the beach. The easiest way to get around if you don't have a car is by train. The station is at the end of our street (7 min walk) and trains run every 15 minutes (less frequent in the evenings/on weekends) to the city centre. It's a 20-minute ride. A free tram operates within the city limits. The beaches are in the opposite direction, starting from Brighton station the train line follows the coast and you can get off at Brighton, Seacliff, Marino or Hallett Cove. Dozens of buses leave from Marion Shopping Centre and you're welcome to use our pushbikes if feeling energetic! Young children can stay at no additional cost using either existing bed or the portacot which we provide. There is lots of safe and free street parking on our street. Please note, we do not provide top sheets. Instead we use quilt covers which are washed every time. We find this to be more hygienic.
