Vacation home in Edvan

New vacation home in Edvan (near Palghar), 2 hour drive from Mumbai. Rural village setting, on a large property with fruit trees, well, etc. Close to beach. New stone bungalow, with modern open plan. Covered veranda, opens to a breezeway and courtyard beyond. Ground floor has large Living room, Dining, fully equipped Kitchen, two bedrooms & full bathroom. Staircase leads to large loft area with a second bathroom. The two downstairs bedrooms can sleep 2 guests each & the upstairs open bedroom can accommodate an additional 4 guests. The house is ideal for two families or a group of 8. You are welcome to enjoy the entire house & property. A caretaker lives across from the house, and will meet you to hand over keys. He can also make arrangements for catered meals, and any local needs (essential groceries etc.). Please note that the caretaker DOES NOT provide "maid service". Beach and sea-facing temple is located within 10 min walk. Larger beach at Kelwa-Mahim is a 20 min drive away. The property is about a 2-hour drive from Mumbai. You can also take the train to Saphala & then Tum-tum (20 min.) or local bus to Edvan. There are occasional electrical power outages (common in the area due to "load shedding"). Food arrangements can be made with local home-based catering service (advance notice recommended).
