West Dorset and the Jurassic coast is a great place to ‘get away from it all’ either as a venue for a traditional family seaside holiday or as a base from which to enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities. So, whether you are here to relax on the beach with the kids, go walking or cycling with friends or simply get some peace and quiet in natural surroundings, we have endeavoured to provide everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Dog friendly. A comfortable modern home, we have endeavoured to provide what you need to make your stay an enjoyable one. There is a small, private enclosed garden. There is a comfortable lounge, with sofas and TV. In the kitchen the dining table and chairs provide somewhere to eat together and the conservatory gives extra room. With a King Size bed and two singles, there is plenty of room for a family of 4 to relax together. We are available via phone, text or email throughout your stay. The house is located 20 minutes from Weymouth, 10 minutes from Dorchester and just 5 minutes from the picturesque village of Portesham. Direct rail links to London from Dorchester South Station. Trains can be taken onwards to the seaside town of Weymouth. Dorchester West Station links to the rest of the West Country. Local taxis and regular bus services. There is also plenty of parking if you wish to travel by car. An ideal base to explore the local area, either by foot or bicycle.
