Open floorplan home located off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Southwest Virginia. Good for families, couples, small groups and quiet relaxing. No cable but TV has antenna. Home has Wi-Fi. Pets allowed with small charge. The house may not be best for very small children. A large backyard meets the woods and often wildlife is seen; deer and turkey. Views of Pilot Mountain, NC and the tallest of buildings of Winston-Salem can be viewed on a clear day. $150.00 refundable security/damage deposit. There are no zoning or leash laws here, so neighboring dogs often want to come and say "hello"; be aware. No smoking inside the house, and no hunting/firearms allowed. With a single futon and queen size air mattress, the home can accommodate more than the two beds allow. The back "sunroom" area is ideal for this, or in the main den area. Lots of floor space is available. I live about 15 minutes away and always try to communicate with guests at arrival to make sure everything is good with their stay. A gravel service road off the Blue Ridge Parkway or Highway is the way to access the home. The private road that the property in on, is also gravel, but very close to the miles of beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and neighboring Hillsville, Galax, Independence, Virginia, and Mount Airy, NC. Close to the Music Center on Parkway, and lots of events, destinations close by to enjoy. There is a pamphlet of rules and regulations info to be signed when you check in.
