(we recommend not using the bus at night) Alternative is UBER about $8 to Murdoch train station. 300 metres is IGA SUPERMARKET & LIQUOR store, Fish & Chips (delicious) Indian Restraunt ect Just 2km metres away from the house, where you will find restaurants, pizza outlets, ALDI and COLES, sushi, kebabs, asian supermarket, POST OFFICE & many variety stores. Long term loan car if required during your stay. Public transport is also simple and easy to use with a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the house. Murdoch train station 3.5km away. Buses run every 30 minutes weekdays and hourly weekends. Alternative is UBER about $8 from our place to Murdoch station. We are flexible with check in times but later than 10pm at night is not good for us as as we both start work at 6am each morning.... We enjoy sharing our home with guests, you can free range in all common areas in our homestay....The kitchen is free and available to use including utensils, pots pans etc.... Free Parking is available in the front of the house or by arrangement with the host on the premises. Amy and I have a great raport with every guest or guests that stay with us. Sometimes you will be surprised what we get you into...much fun with Amy, lots of natural history and trips about town with Ian... Ian has developed some short tours for guests as well...just ask him You will not find a better located place in PERTH that has flexibility to use your own car or public transport either to the city or to FREMANTLE. Our house is in a very quiet part of the suburb of Bibra Lake and is secluded with virtually no traffic. Golf course 2kms away where you can see kangaroos grazing in the evening. This is a Quote from Mark one of our Guests QUOTE....great description "Ian and Amy's home is really well located as it is just 12km south of the main city centre but it is within 300m of a bus stop which has regular buses, (2 an hour) to the local train station and that in turn has a train every ten minutes direct to the city centre. It is possible to get to the city in twenty five minutes for a cost of $4.20 The house is very spacious, clean and well appointed with a great shower and separate toilet, open plan kitchen, wash room and large dining area and lounge. All of these facilities are used by the house guests and family alike. There were 3 other guests in the house during my stay. All were lovely people and the positive interaction between then and Ian, Amy and Ian's son Josh was fantastic. All made me very welcome and included me in the evening meals that they jointly prepared. Josh kindly lent me one of his bicycles and accompanied me on a great bike ride to Fremantle. He was excellent company. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at Ian and Amy's and would highly recommend a stay there."
