Your own private, tiny Holiday Village a stone-throw away from Lavertezzo and the beautiful Verzasca River. The village consists of 2 typical 300-year old Stone houses (called Rustici) with authentic granite roofs. Ideal for holidays with small group of friends or family, a total of 12 beds are available. The Rustici are located in an very tranquil area, yet the Verzasca River invites to a cooling bath and BBQ at the river bank only steps away. Bus stop and 2 parking spaces are minutes away. Just minutes from the medieval village of Lavertezzo, the two Rustici are ideally rented together, since the various outside areas with shaded garden, two terraces, trampoline, BBQ grill, various niches and nooks to relax and unwind are all interconnected. Both Houses are about 150m2 each with a total of 5 rooms, 2 bathrooms with shower/toilet, 2 modern kitchen, 2 wood fireplaces and electric floor heating. Directly behind the village is a dense chestnut forest while on the opposite side of the valley a high waterfall rushes into the Verzasca river. At night all you hear is the river and the sound of crickets. Both kitchen are modern and fully equipped with Nespresso Capsules Coffee Maker, oven, ceramic stoves, dishwasher, two large fridges and freezer. There are a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms have toilets and shower stalls. One of the bathroom is equipped with modern washing machine and dryer. Please note that the third bedroom is in the attic with limited height, has 4 beds and is perfect for children; access to the bathroom is either through the main bedroom or via the outside garden. The terrace between the two houses has BBQ grill, deck chairs, umbrellas, tables and chairs. The second wooden terrace behind the Rustico Ghirone has more deck chairs, sun sail, outdoor shower and trampoline. Behind the Rustico Ghiri is a shady garden. Life in a 300-year-old Rustico can be rustic; an experience for the entire family! As the houses are close to nature, there is a chance to actually experience nature of all kinds, including the humble Ghiri (dormouse) who lives between roofs and rafters, and also ants and other insects, especially when food is left out.
