Villa Largo is a contemporary designed, luxury villa, surrounded by nature with superb beach and ocean views. Our dream was to build a villa where luxury, decadence and simplicity combine with architecture, design and culture. Architecturally designed in Aotearoa New Zealand and Bali , this luxury retreat is a spacious 250 m2, surrounded by 800 m2 of tropical landscaping and offering spectacular views of the ocean. Designed and furnished in an eclectic international contemporary style, where gardens and lodgings blend into the natural topography and foliage. We provide the services of our own resident chef, who can arrange a menu with you, purchase ingredients on your behalf and prepare all your meals; giving you the opportunity to take in the breathtaking views, take a stroll down to the beach, relax and enjoy. We can also arrange for a range of services to come to you including yoga and spa therapists, to ensure the most indulgent of stays. Villa Largo offers its own 15m private infinity edge lap pool, fans and air conditioning in all shared areas and bedrooms, original artworks, Harmon Kardon stereo and cable TV , home bar, fully equipped kitchen and a large sun terrace with panoramic beach and ocean views. Each of our four king sized en-suite bedrooms have private roof terraces with handcrafted pergolas for shade. The ocean can be seen and heard from every bedroom and two of our rooms have louvered joinery, providing outdoor showering with privacy in mind Located in the Umeanyar in the north of Bali, within easy walking distance of the beach, we are blessed with views of the beach and ocean as well as vineyards and rice paddy fields. Well known as a destination for meditation, yoga and other spiritual wellness, the villa offers a variety of holiday experiences for the most discerning of travellers. The north of Bali is a renowned holiday destination offering dolphin watching, fishing, scenic cruising, diving, snorkelling, hiking, water temples, waterfalls, romantic picnics on the beach are but some of the many options available from Villa Largo. The villa is completely private, and as a guest you have exclusive use of the accommodation, pool, and gardens. Spacious, beautiful views and all the comfort you can ask for.” Villa Largo has four dedicated staff members: a private cook/housemaid, pool attendant/gardener, security guard, and manager, who all live locally. They are all warm and inviting, enjoy laughing, care about your happiness and want to make sure you have a great trip. All speak some English. We also have a small, handpicked team of drivers in both the north and the south. All speak excellent English, are extremely knowledgeable, can help arrange your day trips, drive carefully and safely. Security is provided from early-evening until morning. The cook/housemaid comes in the morning to cook breakfast and lunch and to clean the villa before taking a break and returning to prepare dinner. Umeanyar is a small community, consisting mainly of local Balinese villagers, fishermen and farmers. The villa is surrounded by forest, vineyards and rice fields. Unique for Bali, there is a large array of wildlife and birds can be heard in the trees. Out in front there is a working Padi field and the villa is bordered on one side by trees. We think Umeanyar is something special. It retains the charm, peace and tranquility of the original Bali and yet within walking distance are an abundance of activities. You may engage in Agritourism; attend a local ceremony; play football on the beach with the locals at sun down; stroll along the beach; snorkel on the coral reef; go fishing; watch dolphins; go to a yoga/mediation class; enjoy a drink at the local Umeanyar beach bar or in-villa bar. Within a short drive you will find spectacular waterfalls, hot springs, temples, traditional markets, and much more. The nearest town, Seririt, has two large traditional markets, local restaurants, supermarkets, and banks, ATMs, hospital, doctors’ surgeries and pharmacies. 20 minutes away in Lovina, is an abundance of European food shops, restaurants, bars and shops. Under an hour away is Pemuteran – the gateway to Menjangan Island - Bali’s premier diving destination, and West Bali National Park with hiking, forests, mangroves and birdlife. In addition, the following activities are available: Pamper yourself on your own private deck or the pool terrace. We can arrange wonderful relaxing massages, facials treatment, manicure, pedicure through a professional local spa. Indulge in your hobbies and interests. Agritourism, diving, snorkeling, yoga, golf, cooking courses, swimming, sunbathing, shopping, dining out, going to bars, beach walks, sightseeing, temples, waterfalls, hot springs, hikes, reading, movie watching and more are all within easy reach. Relax and appreciate the benefits of Yoga or Meditation either at a private class at the villa or at the local yoga and meditation resort (free transport provided). Our drivers are available 24/7 for a small additional cost. We can also arrange scooter hire. There is a 2 car garage on site. And ample scooter parking. Prices are for accommodation only. Toiletries and meals are not provided. On arrival, a welcome drink and your first evening meal are included, so sit back, settle in and relax. Our chef is available to prepare daily meals breakfast, lunch, dinner and any snacks daily. Meals need to be arranged the day prior so that ingredients can be purchased in the morning from our range of local suppliers providing the very best of fresh ingredients and European specialities. Costs of ingredients are market price, plus a small fee for petrol and are met by the guest and paid to the housekeeper daily. It is important to us to support the local community and as part of this, everything in the villa has been designed and crafted locally. Many items are available for purchase and we can arrange for them to be transported back to your home country. Bespoke designs are also available. We are also connected to local beach clean ups, recycling programmes, and a local charity that provides much needed goods and services to nearby communities.
