Tranquil Room Close to Recreation & Universities

We're your home away from home when visiting the Upstate! We're conveniently located close to Anderson U, the Civic Center, and a short drive to Clemson U. Enjoy access to many rec areas on Lake Hartwell, including the famed Green Pond Landing. When visiting Anderson, SC, settle in for a quiet, relaxing stay in our home! We ask that you read our house rules before booking to ensure we are a good fit for you. We welcome guests regardless of race, gender, national origin, and sexual orientation. Guests have access to the guest bedroom in the home, which is on the opposite side of the house as the master bedroom. The guest bedroom has a Tempur-Pedic queen bed, chest of drawers, closet, plush bench, ceiling fan, cable TV, and a mini-fridge. The clean, private bathroom has a tub/shower and is located next to the guest bedroom and is exclusively used by our guests. Guests have shared access to the kitchen, dining room, laundry room, screened in back porch, and fenced in back yard. Enjoy a continental breakfast, including coffee/tea/cider/hot cocoa before beginning your day (complimentary). Parking is available on the right side of the driveway (and on the street if needed). We are open and friendly but will respect your privacy during your stay. We will minimize our interaction with guests if we are home, outside of welcoming you. We encourage you to ask questions when you have them. Our neighborhood is small and quiet. It is a great place to take a walk or sit out on the screened in porch and bird-watch. Lake Hartwell recreation access is less than 10 minutes away. Anderson University is less than 5 miles away. Clemson University is 15 miles away. If you are attending Clemson events, you can easily get to Clemson without taking the crowded highway. The Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport is less than an hour away, with easy access to I-85. There is no convenient, reliable public transportation in Anderson. However, Uber is present in the area. Amanda works from home. The home office is located next to the guest bedroom. She limits her time in the office when hosting guests, but there are times when she will need to use the office during your stay. Your privacy is her utmost concern so the office door remains closed and a white noise machine is on. She may need to be in the next room during business hours, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm and when emergencies arise outside of business hours.
