Hayloft is a recently converted barn, with a relaxed, spacious country style, combined with modern luxuries. Bedrooms are located downstairs and open plan living, kitchen diner upstairs to make the most of the views. Surrounded in open countryside on a working family farm with a network of footpaths and cycleways for you to explore. Located only 3.5miles from Durham City and is a perfect base for you to explore the North East, Durham and Northumberland. Hayloft Cottage enjoys a relaxed country feel over 2 floors, with both bedrooms enjoying ensuite facilities. Guests enjoy visits to Beamish Museum, Hadrians Wall, Durham Cathedral, Raby Castle along with Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Along with exploring the local area, we only 30 minutes from the seaside - perfect for a family day out and an ice cream or two. We live on site and are therefore able to help with any queries you may have during your stay. We are located on the edge of Brancepeth Village, we have our own privately owned Castle which has a lovely coffee shop located within and our church - St Brandons is calming place to visit during your stay. We are surrounded by a network of extensive footpaths and cycleways which you can enjoy as soon as you step out of the front door of Hayloft. With footpaths from the front door, there are many routes you can walk. Just down the farm lane we have the local bus stop if you dont want to take the car.
