Large glass doors open to a private, sunny, furnished decked area with gaz bbq, overlooking the lake and to woodlands. Private parking Many walks/cycling available from the property. There is a shared swimming pool, with decking terraces, available mid May to end of September. Leisure fishing with a log cabin containing a table tennis and a darts board for guests to use. Large gardens, with shaded areas. Guests may also take advantage of the shared large gardens. Children under 12 years old can stay free of any extra charges, please just send us a message to confirm. Owners live on site, available 'as and when' needed. Exideuil, itself, is located close by, has a couple of bars with restaurants, with occasional evening entertainment. A bakery, tabac and pharmacy. The lovely Vienne river winds itself through Exideuil and onto Chabanais. There is kayaking and canoeing in Exideuil, along with horse riding. There are many lakes in the area for fishing, tuition can be had for an extra charge. We are very close to the Lacs de Haute-Charente with beach, water sports, restaurant, and English bar with regular live music We are 5kms from Chabanais, the closest town, which provides shops, pharmacies, bars, restaurants and coffee shop. Also including a Fish and Chips restaurant and takeaway. Car recommended in order to explore the interesting and historic areas nearby. For a complete rest, owners can provide an airport pick up/drop off at extra charge The apartment is open plan, with a light and airy feel. If you arrive early and the property is not ready, you are welcome to relax and enjoy the grounds.
