Recently renovated for additional privacy, this private bed/bath is located in the lower ground floor of a beautiful townhouse in Historic Locust Point. Classic barn door separates private bed from private bath, and access to washer/dryer. Hardwood floors, gourmet kitchen, outdoor spaces/decks, and easy parking. Only 14 min. to BWI airport, LP is the SAFEST area in Baltimore w/easy downtown access using Uber/Lyft/WaterTaxi/Scooter or FREE bus. Walkable bars/parks make LP the perfect getaway. Our house is located on a safe, quiet street within historic Locust Point, w/ ample parking. Walk to Historic Fort McHenry National Monument and Park, Under Armour Global Headquarters, Sport and Exercise Centric Latrobe Park, Delicious Restaurants, Unique Bars, Gyms, Grocery Stores, and more. In addition, a quick ride (car/bike/scoot) to Stadium Square, the Convention Center, and the Inner Harbor! You will have a charming private room and bath located within the lower ground floor of our townhouse. Recently updated, the room features exposed brick showing off a famous Baltimore architectural staple, combined with recently upgraded retro decor including comfortable and functional chair and desk, as well as a clothes rack/shelving for your storage needs. The full mattress is new with quality linens, pillows, and duvet. And your private bathroom is right down the hall. There may be another guest staying in the other private bedroom and bathroom at the time of your stay. If you're interested in renting two rooms, please let us know! Be sure to check out the ''location'' tab to get an understanding of why we love the neighborhood, and why you will to! You can use the majority of the house, just not the other bedrooms/bathrooms. That includes access to your bedroom/bathroom, closet, the laundry room, family room, kitchen, and first floor walk out deck. Ask and you shall receive! If there's anything that could help you during your stay, let us know and we'll do our best to help out! I love Locust Point because of the friendly neighbors, quiet atmosphere, access to literally everything Baltimore, and the HISTORY. Locust Point has been called "Baltimore's Ellis Island" because the neighborhood was once the third largest point of entry for immigrants to the United States after Ellis Island and the Port of Philadelphia. It is also the home of Historic Fort McHenry, which is best known for its role in the War of 1812, when it successfully defended Baltimore Harbor from an attack by the British navy from the Chesapeake Bay. And more recently, Locust Point has become the official home of apparel maker Under Armour, with it's global headquarters now central to the neighborhood. A mix of new age and old, Locust Point is an amazing exclamation point to the downtown Baltimore area, and a great home base for all types of travelers. I love the location of this townhouse because of it's accessibility to literally anything Baltimore related. There's easy access to downtown using Uber/Lyft/WaterTaxi/Scooters/Walking or the FREE Circulator Bus (closet stop within a two minute walk). Walkable bars and parks galore. The airport is a 15 minute drive away, and the rest of the Delaware/Maryland/Virginia/DC region is within reach via I-95, which is only a 3 minute drive away. So it's perfect for medical residents working at hospitals, travelers doing day trips to Washington DC, or Philadelphia, convention goers looking to visit the Inner Harbor, recent transplants looking for a home base while testing out Baltimore neighborhoods for long term living, and everyone in-between. Access to city perks without the hassle (crime, noise, traffic, parking)! Ask and you shall receive! If there's anything that could help you during your stay, let me know and I'll do my best to help out!
