NOW SEEKING 9-12 month TENANTS July 2022 for long term! (price neg.) Great home that's perfect for a couple or family seeking a city and country experience in New York. This 1912 colonial is located in the town of Pleasantville. Walking distance (3 blocks) to the center of Pleasantville town and just a mile from Chappaqua. See the 2016 New York Times article: "Pleasantville, N.Y.: Front Porches and Easy Strolls." We have indoor and outdoor dining that comfortably seats 8-10 people 7 minute walk to the train station, 40 minutes to Harlem and 50 minutes to Grand Central Station Drive without traffic takes 35 minutes You have full access to all parts of the house We are accessable by phone and email during your stay. We also have family and friends in town that can assist you if needed. We leave detailed instructions on house care, emergency contact information and a full list of activities, restaurants and bike trails (including some of the best mountain biking trails in Westchester). Jacob Burns Film center is a three block walk in the center of town. Shows include documentaries, foreign and independent films. JB also has a speaker series and film festivals most weekends. Pleasantville farmers market (every Saturday) is rated one of the best in Westchester and is walking distance from our home. Bikes available, two car parking available and street parking available. Why this location is ideal: Walkability to town and train station Less than 30 minutes to bike trails, Rockefeller State Park, Farmers Market, Wolf Conservancy, Muscoot Farm, Croton on the Hudson (great for hiking and kayaking), Teatown Lake Reservation, Rockwood Hall State Park. Fabulous Restaurants minutes away that include Blue Hill, Truck, Purdy's Farmer & the Fish, Modern Barn, North, Kittle House, Beehive, Reading Room, to name a few. Harlem is 40 minutes away and the train drops you minutes from the Red Rooster Restaurant (live music most nights, djs and gospel brunches), Sylvia’s (best soul food), Maison Harlem (French cuisine and music every night) and the Apollo Theater.
