The Pod At Ardyle, Garabhan Forest, Loch Lomond

Come and experience the tranquility of Ardyle Eco Pod. Set at the top of a field in Loch Lomond and Trossachs national park. On the outskirts of Drymen.3 minutes from the west highland way path. 5 minutes drive to the shores of the loch. Views are stunning. We also have another listing called the Nest, Garabhan which sleeps 4 and is in same location just separately listed. Good things come in small packages ! This small space is perfect for a base for exploring. It has an en suite shower room. Perfect little kitchen with hob,microwave and fridge. Double bed pulls down from wall and guests have told us this very comfortable! Table pulls out from under the couch. This is for 2 people there is not enough space for travel cot so not suitable for children unless it was one adult and one child sharing bed. Free Wifi, smart TV ( YouTube Netflix etc) double bed and couch. All beautifully finished with hand made wooden decking. Outside rattan table and chairs on the decking. Admire the view with binoculars, or snuggle up with one of the many Scottish books left for your enjoyment. A perfect place to sit and watch the sun set over the loch. We also have one Tesla electric car charge point. We run from solar panels and a biomass boiler. If you are looking for somewhere a little quirky this is ideal. Whole Eco pod. Field. Decking. Outdoor seating. If you are stuck for access I can usually pick you up and drop you off to Drymen square. It is only a few minutes drive. Tranquil spot surrounded by fields, hills and panoramic views. Five minutes walk to bus stop. Close to Balmaha and Drymen - just a few minutes drive. Half an hour to Stirling, 50 minutes to Edinburgh, 4o minutes to Glasgow. We are right on the west highland way path. 20 minutes drive to the foot of ben lomond. From balmaha there are water buses to luss. Bus stop five minutes away. Good train links. Hundreds of walks and cycles on our door step !! Bring wellies / walking boots for walks and hikes. Road to our house is a very bumpy farm track so take your time!
