Single family home; private, keyless entry to two guest room(s) and a bathroom on second floor. All cotton bedding; extra pillows in the closets. Front porch and back patio for enjoying the views and birdsong. Visit family and friends at Colgate, explore the antique shops in Bouckville, or just get away for a bit. Everyone welcome; NO pets. Additional charge for more than 3 guests. **Price adjustments for Colgate graduation and reunion weekends. There are a total of two bedrooms, with queen beds, and one bath, upstairs in our guest space. A private entrance lets you come and go at your convenience. I NEVER rent to more than one set of guests at a time. There is one bathroom upstairs that is for registered guests only. Your party will not share a bathroom with anyone, except those you came with. I do have a rollaway bed, but, if requested, setup and take down is up to those booking. It is just too much for me to wrestle with. Bedding will be provided for the rollaway. Guests use the green front door entrance and take the stairs to the guest room (s) and bathroom. There is a coffee/tea area with a Keurig for guest use and a small refrigerator. Bottled water is provided as well as a variety of coffee K-cups. Tea bags are also provided, along with sugar, sugar substitute and creamers. I provide fruit, yogurt and granola bars, as well. I have a part-time job, so my availability during the week is spotty, but I can always be reached through text or a phone call. Having a private entrance with a door code, makes your stay simpler. At times, we may be away, but I have family in the area who can help in the event of an on-site. Hamilton, NY is a lovely community to live in and visit. Besides Colgate University, there are many wonderful shops, restaurants, a movie theater and a Farmer's Market, each Saturday 9-1 (from the first weekend in May until the first weekend in November; usually.) that is not to be missed! Fruits, vegetables, baked goods, handmade pottery, handmade soaps, jewelry, etc. Too much to mention. Beautiful lakes and nature centers, too. In the spring, fall, and summer, there are many antique shops and shows. Winter has many activities, as well, if you are the outdoor type. On busy weekends, such as Colgate graduation, parking in the village can be tricky. There is no taxi service in Hamilton, rumors of Uber, but I'm not too sure on that. And of course, if you own your own plane, there is a local airport!
