A charming private house with a large garden and seasonal fruit trees, right on the edge of the spectacular desert. A warm and relaxing place to stay. This house is great for a single guest, a couple or an entire family up to 6 guests (Please read further about sleeping arrangements) The house has several unique features - lovely patio with an area for lighting a fire - including poyke pot and Tava for cooking your own meal outdoor on fire, a seasonal herb garden, and of course - a back gate leading directly to the wild desert... The house is decorated with mud bricks arches and a fireplace with plenty of firewoods. The house is also decorated with the house owner wood pictures arts. The "New Neighborhood" of Mitzpe Ramon is small and quiet, and right on the edge of the desert. Free parking in the street. For guests who arrive by public transit, it is recommended to take the train to Beer-Sheva and continue with bus number 65 (best), 64 or 60 (slowest) of the Metropoline company. If you are traveling from Tel Aviv to Eilat or to Sinai, Mitzpe Ramon is a really stunning location to stop and relax before continuing your journey. It is also a center for desert hiking, jeeps tours, stargazing, and other adventures. Mitzpe Ramon is a very small town, surrounded by the mighty desert, on the cliff overlooking Makhtesh Ramon, aka the Mitzpe-Ramon crater - a unique geological phenomenon. There are lots of locations to hike or drive to, and plenty of serene and quiet gems you can find in the desert. On the other hand, in Spice Route Quarter (a 3-minute walk) you can find galleries, vintage boutique shops, artisan shops, pubs, restaurants, and a bakery. you're more than welcome to visit!
