Nestled in the quaint village of Giriz still untouched by the chaos of Vasai town, our home makes for a great place to wind down, rejuvenate and relax. This is a place for dreamers to reset, reflect, and create. Designed keeping in mind a slow & relaxed pace, touched with minimalism to help you declutter and calm your mind. Our hope is that you enjoy every part of your stay; from sipping chai on the balcony, reading a book, or enjoying the picturesque sunset and the starry night that follows. *Please read the whole information carefully before booking* We keep our weekends blocked for our group bookings. If you wish to book on the weekends please leave us a message. If the days are available we will be happy to accomodate you. You can also choose to book the entire villa by heading to the other listings in our host profile. Welcome to our beautiful home ! Villa Prague is my family- home and was built in the early nineties. This is one of the tallest buildings in its surroundings and hence has some amazing views. The sunsets from our balcony and terrace are magical. The Giriz lake is right opposite the road. Take a walk or bike down the road and find yourself amidst paddy fields and banana plantations. Our villa is divided into three independent houses and this airbnb space is located on the second floor. This listing is of a shared space. You will have access to the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, the living room, the kitchen and one balcony. We offer a free breakfast. This space includes a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The bedroom is air conditioned and has a comfortable queen bed along with a wardrobe with plenty of space for your clothes, it also has a full length mirror. The master bedroom is west facing and you can wind down and enjoy the beautiful sunset from the window. Laze on our couch as you read and sip on your morning cuppa. Or gather around the table and enjoy a game of Monopoly. As the evening comes around turn down the lights and put on the lamps, enjoy the warm mood with a glass of wine and long conversations. We have a range of games and books for your entertainment. Please treat them with care and do not misplace pieces of the games. We have a well-equipped and large kitchen and dining area. It comes with a fridge, a microwave and an induction cooktop. We also provide basics like tea, coffee, salt and oil. Our bathrooms are fitted with good showers and have geysers for hot water. We provide basic toiletries like soap, shampoo and towels PLEASE NOTE : Our garden area is currently under restoration Food: We serve a free breakfast. However we do not provide lunch or dinner. But can definitely help you out with arrangements for the same from our local catering partners. Alternatively we could help you out with suggestions of good restaurants that you could order from. Zomato has a choice of restaurants that deliver to our address. We have partnered with tailor made local food experiences that you could book in advance. Experiences: We have partnered with local businesses to offer you a plethora of experiences to choose from . We will send you our guidebook as soon as you book with us and you could choose and book from one of the many experiences. PLEASE NOTE : Our space is in close proximity to our neighbors and hence we request you to maintain the noise levels to a minimum. This space is NOT SUITABLE FOR PARTIES. Smoking is not allowed indoors. You may use the balconies to smoke. Ash trays are provided in both the balconies. Please respect the privacy of other guests. Other things to note Our space is located on the second floor and has only stairway access. Occasionally we do experience power cuts in the area as it is located in a rural area. These do not last very long. We have an inverter back up and you will be able to use the fans, lights and charging points. However during this time you will not be able to use the air conditioners and other heavy equipment like the induction cooktops and other heavy power consuming equipments. Also note that since we are located in a village in the midst of mother nature you will occasionally encounter bugs and insects. We maintain a thorough pest control. We have provided mosquito and bug repellent should the need occur. Please keep the doors and windows closed after 6 pm to avoid mosquitoes entering into the house. This listing is of a shared space. We will be there during the check-in and check-out process to assist you through it. We stay 10 mins away from the property and will be accessible through phone and the Airbnb app. Our house in the village of Giriz in Vasai. We are night next to Giriz Talao (lake). Giriz is one of the oldest villages in Vasai and if you stroll down its by- lanes you may come across many old houses that are made in the Indo-Portuguese style. Walk down the road and you will find yourself amidst paddy fields and banana plantations. There are farmlands just 5 mins away. You can buy fresh produce right from the farms depending on the season. The Giriz Dongri (hill) is located at a 3 min drive or 10 mins walk from our place. You could also choose to hike up the hill. The views from the hill are stunning. You can see the surrounding villages on one side and vasai town on the other side and on a clear day even the coastline is visible from up there. If you are a beach bum Bhuigoan beach is just a 10 minute drive down the road. Also Mumbai's only Surf club is 20 mins away at Rajodi beach. The Gass-Suncity road which connects the village directly to the city is about 5 mins away from our place. It’s a scenic route during the rains. You could use the road to skip the traffic and zoom into town quickly all the while enjoying the banyan tree lined roads, farms and local villages. There are some good restaurants around the area. The Giriz market is about 3 mins away. Best way to get around Vasai is on motor bikes or cycles. We can help you hire the same. Uber and Ola both service our area well. They not only can be used within the city but also do drops to the Mumbai airport and Mumbai city. However, on some rare occasions their cars are not available in the vicinity. If needed we can also help you hire Cars. Alternatively you can choose public transport. The rickshaw and bus stands are right across the road which makes it super easy to get around.
