Cosy cottage in Burgundy with breathtaking view

Come enjoy nature and let your eyes feast on a gorgeous view of the beautiful hills of the Clunisois, in Southern Burgundy. The cottage is part of a 2ha property. It has a South-facing terrace with table and chairs, parasol, and barbecue. You will contemplate a nature pond, forests and hills spreading into the horizon. The cottage includes a large bedroom, a living room, kitchen and connected dining room. The living room can be converted into a bedroom (two single beds, or a double bed). The house is situated on a large property including the owner's home, but the two houses are disconnected without "vis-a-vis" ensuring your full privacy. You can park directly on the property. There is a nature pool. It is accessible at certain times of the day, and to be used at your own risk, if you don't mind swimming or dipping in the company of frogs! We live on the property so will be there to greet you and provide any support you need during your stay. The property is situated a 20 minutes drive from unique historical sites such as Cluny Abbey, Paray le Monial, Comartin castle, and 30 minutes drive from the wineries of the Maconnais. We are also just 30 minutes from the Taizé spiritual community, known for its beautiful chants. There are many pictoresque villages in the area and the roads are ideal for beautiful cycling trips. We are quite isolated so you will need a car to get to our place and to the shops (the nearest supermarket and boulangerie are in St Bonnet de Joux, a 10 minute drive away). The nearest train stations are in Macon (the TGV station is Macon Lôché). You can rent cars there. You can also take a bus from Macon to Cluny for only Euro 1.50.
