Red Roof Retreat in Heriot Bay

Escape in our 2019 forest river travel trailer, perfect for a quiet getaway; glamping at it's finest. Queen size bed in the front with a memory foam topper and 2 double bunks in the back. If you need extra beds, the couch and table can be folded down to make 2 more twins. Located in Heriot Bay, the gateway to the north end of Quadra Island, a popular area with outdoor recreation enthusiasts with a number of hiking and mountain biking trails also walking distance to the stores and docks. Situated off the side of our property, tucked behind our boat shed, approximately 200 feet from our family home. The space is a travel trailor with double bunks in the back and queen bed up front. The couch and table can fold down into 2 additional beds. Extra bedding is supplied if you need to convert the beds for more people. The trailor is situated off the side of our property where you have your own little ravine and creek in a treed area. Your driveway is separated from our yard by a boat shed where you can see the back but is mostly covered in greenery. You have your own area where you can access the creek if you choose and surrounding forest. There is no specific paths but a ravine our kids enjoy playing in. We respect your privacy and will leave you to your solitude but don't hesitate to reach out via the air bnb app or pop over to the house and we would be happy to help. Heriot Bay I would say is the best hub on Quadra Island. Everyone is laid back and friendly, we also live on the best street in "The Bay". Our neighbors are all lovely people who will always wave hi when walking by or stop in to have a quick visit. We are a short walk to the grocery store, on the way you can see the lovely mini donkeys Sophie and Tess at the corner of Macklin rd. Just past that on the right is our quaint little Legion where you would find many locals, a decent burger and beer and more friendly conversations. Further along is the Cortes ferry lineup and the Heriot Bay Inn. We are also walking distance to the government warf where many charters and fisherman are departing and arriving. Quadra Island has no public transit, I would recommend guests bring a vehicle. We are walking distance to the grocery and liquor store, you can also ride your bike to explore. We have limited power at the trailor so ask you do not crank the AC 100% it will trip the breaker, not a big deal because we can happily reset it. At the front door there is buttons with Grey and Black water indicators. If all the lights are lit we can come pump the tanks for you. Ussually not an issue for short stays.
