The Pigeon Loft

Set within an early 1900's converted hall this boutique loft blends modern and old to create a stylish, bright and airy self contained studio. Enjoy your own private decking area for BBQ's and relaxing in the sun. Only a short walk to Adelaide's CBD, Adelaide Oval, Royal Adelaide hospital and all forms of pubic transport. The Loft is part of a converted Hall. The Hall itself was built around 1910 (rough estimation) by the Pigeon Society of South Australia. Over the years it was sold and owned by other organisations when finally, around 2004, it was converted into a residential living. The Loft was once the mezzanine area of the hall and after major renovation work is now an elegant and tastefully designed self-contained unit. A totally unique space and nothing else like it in Adelaide that I know of. The rest of the Hall is private residential and home to your Hosts and Murphy the cat. I have full access to the loft for cleaning, watering plants and restocking purposes. I will always co-ordinate with guest when this will occur. I live in the main hall and available to help guests most days. I can advise on transport, tourist attractions, shopping, cafes and restaurants. Close to everything CBD and public transport: bus, train and tram. Royal Adelaide Hospital 5 mis drive (can be done in 2-3 when traffic light, Adelaide Oval 5 mins and airport about 8-10 mins drive. * Lighting of candles inside property NOT PERMITTED. * TURN OFF heating/cooling, lights and electric blanket when you leave the property. * NO DEEP FAT FRYING or excessive shallow frying.; You may incur a deep cleaning fee. * On street parking is restricted to 2 hours Monday-Friday outside property. Unrestricted parking can be found in the next street which is not far away. * NONE PARTY PROPERTY. Limit noise levels after 10.30 pm please. * Watering of plants. It will be necessary to organise who will attend to watering the plants. This will be done at the beginning of your stay. * Sun lounger covers to be brought indoors if it is raining or very windy. * OUTDOOR UMBRELLA: DO NOT open if its very windy or stormy weather. * ALWAYS use kitchen dish drying rack provided when washing dishes.
