Cosy cabin themed studio +treehouse feel deck

Private cabin style studio with separate bathroom. Full of character and fun to hang out in. Private deck with treehouse feel, backing onto the bush, with an abundance of wildlife. This is a private studio cabin themed residence. Stylish self contained unit/granny flat (Connected to main house)in the beautiful Lower blue mountains. It has its own private lockable entrance and back door with private decking, with its own BBQ over looking the backyard. There is a Queen bed as well as a lounge which turns into a double bed, perfect for the young ones. It is a studio, so the bed , lounge (sofa bed) and kitchen are in the same room with spacious bathroom being separate. There is for your convenience a microwave, a small electric cook top plate and all the essentials needed for your stay, blankets , towels etc. We also have Netflix for when you just want to sit/lie and relax with a good movie or 2. We have put a lot of love and attention into this accommodation, and although it’s attached to our main house it has a very private feel to it and our guests often comment how private and cosy it feels inside and on the back deck which has privacy screens and is nestled into a beautiful big beach tree with a very natural feel, looking out to the bush backyard. We wanted to create something to make you feel like you have gone back in time, in an oldy worldy cabin. Another highlight is all the amazing birds that love the beach tree and visit us everyday for feeding. There are beautiful rainbow lorikeets , Rozellas, Wood Doves, and Cockatoos. We have also recently had 2 tawny Owls enjoying the space. There is parking in driveway just outside the front door. You will have access to your own private decking with BBQ. There are stairs going down to the garden and are welcome to wonder around the backyard. We are home most of the time as we work from home, so we may see you on arrival out front,but if needed we are easily found as the place is attached to the main house. Please note we do have a 2nd airbnb so you may run into other guests on the driveway on your way in. 2 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk to 'Glenbrook' which is first entry point to the Blue Mountains National Park. Its a lovely village boasting fabulous cafes,restaurants,gift shops, parks,bush walks, local cinema,great views, and bushwalks with lookout points. Glenbrook is also known for the 'Jellybean' pools which are natural rock pools surrounded by cliffs. 5 minutes walk to Glenbrook large outdoor heated swimming pool. 15 minutes drive to the Nepean river where you can take boat tours or walk by the water. Also there is a new complex of around 10 cafes and restaurants called ‘Eastbank’ by the river where you can get great breakfast, lunches or a nice evening meal at the Japanese restaurant, fish restaurant or the fabulous Indian restaurant. You may also want to take a walk along the river and take in the views. 25 mins drive to the new Sydney Zoo. Lovely 30-minute drive to Leura and Katoomba, the home of the Three Sisters and some of the Mountains' best coffee, dining and boutiques. We have a large driveway, you can park on the drive right in front of the apartment door. It is a fairly steep driveway so If you prefer you can park on the street, it is a quiet cul de sac with plenty of space. We are just off the 'Great Western Highway' which is easy access to the main route through the Blue Mountains. There is a tourist information centre which is a 15 minute walk. The closest train station is Glenbrook station. This is a 20 minute walk from our house. (Approx 2km). This station is a direct train to all places in the mountains. We have a very friendly dog living on the property named Rocco who is a cross pug he may be seen hanging around in the garden below. Please note this accommodation is attached to the main property and is not a stand alone cabin. We only allow two people in this accommodation but discuss it with us if you are wanting to bring extra guests such as small kids. This will be a small charge per night.
