Les Coquelicots

Les Coquelicots is situated in a little hamlet, just 1km outside of the village of St Aubin Le Cloud. It is a newly renovated barn conversion and comprises a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, bathroom with italian style shower, and a spacious lounge/diner. English and French TV and wifi are available. There is gas central heating and a woodburning stove to facilitate an ‘out of season’ break. There is a step up into the property but we have a ramp allowing for wheelchair access. Being on one level with a walk in shower, wide corridors, the property can accommodate wheelchairs though there are no hoists or grab handles in the property. There is ample parking, a small garden with BBQ. We live in the hamlet, are discreet, but available by phone should you need us during your stay. We are 10minutes drive from the medievil town of Parthenay, 1hours drive from the theme park Futurescope, and 50 minutes from Puy De Fou (voted best themepark in the world). We are in the countryside but beautiful beaches are only 1h30mins away. There are 3 golf clubs within 40mins. Our own village of St Aubin Le Cloud, just 1km walk, offers a bar/tobacconist, bakers, butchers, grocers, hairdressers, garage, chemist and a cashpoint. There is a lake for fishing, a park with a multi-sport pitch, and 2 swimming pools though the outside pool is available only during the summer. Poitiers Airport - 1 hour. La Rochelle Airport - 1 hour 30 mins. Nantes Airport - 1 hour 40 mins. Poitiers Train Station - 1 hour.
