Casa Vilar d'Além is in Marco de Canaveses, a rural place between two rivers: Tâmega and Douro. The house have 2 apartaments that can be use together and comes from the reabilitation of ancient rural structures. In that reabilitation we use natural materials like stone, wood and xisto materials from the region that makes stronger the relation between the house and sight seeing. The glass apears as a strong element to mix with the nature. The balcon becames a meeting point for breakfast and others meals and for a calm contemplation to the green around. Each apartments hás a bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a kitchenet and a living room; diferents in dimension and space. At the outside, we have proper locals for meals. In another building we have a living room, a kithen and balcon to rent for special ocasions. Twice a week we have yoga classes and we also have biological vegetables and fruits for sale.
