Private Entrance on the Bourbon Trail

Enjoy modern conveniences in the country. This space boasts a private entrance, twin daybed with twin trundle, full bathroom, washer/dryer, and more. Located on The Bourbon Trail and convenient to multiple tourist attractions. Room has small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot (coffee/tea provided)! Within 25 minutes to the Bluegrass Airport and Keenelend and less than that to Four Roses and Wild Turkey distilleries! Enjoy the patio and pool (when open and with a maximum of 2 guests). Welcome! Private entrance on 5 acres. Just a few miles off of the Bluegrass Parkway and 127 and convenient to many destinations. Ample parking available for campers, motorcycle trailers, etc. Guests have private access to their room, bathroom, and laundry. They also have access to outdoor areas including the yard, and pool (when open and for 2 guests). This space is not handicap accessible and the room is located in the back of the home. Guests must feel comfortable walking down a small hill to the door accessing the room. We are available via phone or text for any questions or concerns, but mostly keep to ourselves. You may see us out and about in the yard so feel free to come outside and get to know us if you'd like. Two adults, three children, 2 dogs, and outdoor cat live on this property. The dogs are lovable Labradoodles who you may see outside on occasion. The cat is an outdoor farm cat, but is also friendly if you are open to him coming around. We live in the country on 5 acres. Although we do have neighbors, we are far enough apart that we don't see each other often. Two horses reside next door and will sometimes come to the fence and allow you to rub their noses. If you’ve never seen a star filled sky, we’ve been told that our backyard is an oasis filled with them! Deer, wild turkeys, Fox, and rabbits are often seen on the property as well. Small town living doesn't allow for public transit options! You will be about 10 minutes from Lawrenceburg and 15 minutes to Harrodsburg. Three children do live in this house. We maintain a fairly quiet existence, but they are kids at times! If we happen to be watching tv downstairs and it's bothersome, just let us know and we are happy to lower the volume! Internet in the country can be hit or miss so we cannot promise optimal connection speed. Internet is for the guest when the room is occupied as we use our cell data plan to give the best service possible to you, our guest! We are Mercer County Tourism and state Compliant
