Dragonfly Villa Libellula is a newly renovated Thirties Lombardy Villa within easy walking distance from banks, supermarket and a pharmacy and the lungolago with shops, bars and restaurants. APPARTAMENTO BLU is a spacious 120 sqm three bedroom apartment with a modern family bathroom. You will find everything you need to enjoy your stay, including street parking, a private balcony and a pergola with dining and lounge area and vine and kiwi arbour in the large garden. APPARTAMENTO BLU is a newly renovated, spacious three bedroom apartment on the first floor of renovated Lombardy villa. The main bedroom suite is elegantly furnished with a big old double bed, dressing table, set of drawers and wardrobe. The reading nook has a bookshelf, a table and two period chairs - the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea or read another chapter of your book after a long day exploring. The second bedroom has a comfy wrought iron double bed with dainty dressing table and wardrobe with hanging space and shelves. Inter-leading from this second bedroom is the third bedroom with two single wrought iron beds, so it is specially suitable for accompanying children. The separate lounge boasts a large Chesterfield lounge suite and modern couch. It has a 65" SMART TV. The bright and cheery dining room affords a marvellous view of the Rocca di Borromeo so you can enjoy your dinner whilst also enjoying a vista of the ancient castle by night while the balcony would be a good place for a nightcap at the end of a perfect day. The modern bathroom has a walk in shower and washing machine. The kitchen is equipped with microwave and hob. This is one of two holiday lets on our property; there is also a double room with private bathroom for holiday rental . (Dragonfly - Camera Bianca) Guests from both APPARTAMENTO BLU and CAMERA BIANCA can make use of the pergola, arbour and garden with barbecue facilities. Together we can host up to 8 adults in these two units. We live downstairs with 3 darling dachshunds so if we can help to make your stay more memorable just knock on our door! Villa Dragonfly/Villa Libellula is a renovated Thirties Lombardy Villa which nestles beneath the majestic Rocca di Borromeo in central Angera. Free overnight parking is available in the street across the road (space needs to be vacated around 9am) or you can park in the hospital parking up the road. You don't need a car to get around Angera and surrounding areas. A short stroll down the narrow streets will lead you to banks, a Farmacia, supermarket and shops and bars and restaurants as well as the lungolago with its famous tree-lined promenade which leads you to a play park, the beaches, the ferry terminal and tourist information point. The ferry can take you to most tourist spots on the lake, such as the Borromean Islands, Santa Caterina, Villa Taranto, various towns like Stresa, Luino, Intra and Locarno in Switzerland. There is also a big train station at Arona that can take you to various towns up the lake as well as Milan, the fashion capital of the world, with all its' museums, galleries and designer shops. Transport to and from the airport (Malpensa) and the train station at Sesto Calende can be arranged. We supply beach towels, beach umbrella and picnic basket on request. There is also a buggy which guests may use should they have smaller children not keen on walking too far.
