Comfortable sandstone family home with two living rooms backing onto bush with water glimpses. Bus-stop across the road – 20 mins into North Sydney and the city. If you love nature but also want the convenience of being close to the city in a neighbourhood with cafes, shops and a supermarket 6 minutes walk away, then this is your place. Large family home in relaxed bushland setting with water views close to the city, cafes and restaurants. The house is split level and has a large kitchen and dining area downstairs, plus a downstairs lounge room as well as an upstairs lounge room and separate outdoor entertaining spaces. Guests have plenty of options to enjoy the house, conversely there is enough room for everyone to have a bit of privacy The bedroom has a side entrance door so guests may come and go as they please. The bed is queen-sized, there is a built-in wardrobe and built-in shelving, as well as a desk with chair. The family are easygoing and used to having guests and we have one permanent tenant living in the house. You have free use of the kitchen, entertaining areas, back garden, and barbecue area. We just ask that you are responsible, clean up after yourself, and no parties (thanks). The neighbourhood - Castlecrag, has an interesting history, and is a peninsula suburb surrounded by water. It has shops including cafes, restaurants, a supermarket, butcher, and liquor shop. It's well serviced by buses and there's a train station about 6 minutes drive away in Artarmon, or Chatswood. Full use of house including lounge room/TV, garden, kitchen, and laundry. Happy to assist with information about Sydney sights and attractions, transport, shops and social venues. Quiet bushland setting close to city in comfortable family home. Buses from across the road leave for city and nearby Chatswood Shopping Centre. Nocturnal visits by wildlife! Lots of bush walks and vantage spots nearby.
