SALENTO GUESTHOUSE SUITE Donna Irene is a very spacious studio type apartment (aprox. 50 square meters) with high vaulted stone ceiling, fully equiped kitchen / living room, bathroom ,strong wi-fi connection and direct access to the patio and solarium terrace (shared with adjacent apartment). Salento Guesthouse is a family run residence in the heart of ancient little town Carpignano Salentino. Our residence is located in Renaissance palazzo built and owned by the owner's family since 1500. Unique architecture and interiors with very high, groin and barrel vaulted ceilings and period furnishing will transport you back in time. The guesthouse has a strategic position, being in the center of Salento, a short distance from Lecce, Otranto and from the main roads which make it very easy to move around the heel of the italian boot. Our guests will have access to the patio of Salento Guesthouse with BBQ and lounge area. There is free Wi-Fi in the apartment and patio. We like to entertain our guests at our home restaurant. Also we arrange boat excursions, diving courses, cooking classes, bicycle trips, wine tasting and more, you name it. SALENTO GUESTHOUSE is located near OTRANTO in the heart of ancient village CARPIGNANO Salentino. All the amenities such as local shops, fish shop, butcher shop, bar, bank and the post office are at walking distance from the house. Carpignano Salentino is located in the heart of Salento region, only 10km from Otranto, 20 km from Lecce and only 8 km from the most beautiful beaches in Salento. You will reach Gallipoli in 35 mniutes, Leuca in less than an hour away. The house is located near the Mother Church therefore on sunday morning and during religious festivity there is the sound/noise of the bell tower. There is a bus service. The parking is free and just 30 meters away from Salento Guesthouse. We organize airport transfer from Brindisi airport on demand. However we advice to rent a car to move arround Salento. The apartment has smart tv. We provide ingredients for breakfast in the apartment but we do not serve it.
