Glampio Bedo/Glamping is a luxurious glamping site offering the perfect retreat for those of you in search of tranquility, see views, coastal path walks, be at one with nature and exploring the Isle of Anglesey. Our Shepherds Hut, log cabin and pods are luxurious, cosy and inspired by the Danish Hygge style The perfect haven to relax, unwind and snuggle up by the roaring log burner stove. We are in Llanfachraeth, located near the West coast of the island with great destinations at its doorstep. 'Cwt Bugail Bedo'-The Shepherd's Hut is situated at the far end of the site with it's very own private and luxurious bathroom. It's the perfect romantic getaway for couples wishing to enjoy peace and tranquility from the stresses of everyday life. Sit back, relax and enjoy the sounds of early birds and wildlife in your own private and secluded haven. Enjoy a cup of tea or a beverage of your choice, whilst taking in the breathtaking views and the beautiful welsh countryside surroundings! 'Cwt Bugail Bedo' has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas hob and a small fridge freezer. It includes all of the essentials you would expect and wish , for a luxurious romantic short break getaway! There is a small log burner for cosy nights in during the cold periods. You can wake up to the sound of the countryside in an extremely comfortable double bed. Towels and bed linen are supplied. Outside there is a bistro table with chairs, BBQ and a fire pit for you to enjoy in your very own private and self contained haven. After a long day exploring the island, why not relax in the log burning hot tub. The perfect setting for relaxing and gazing at the stars. We aim to give all our guests a peaceful and relaxing glamping experience here on the Isle of Anglesey. We have a wildflower meadow at the end of the glamping field. You are welcome to go for a walk and wander around the field. At the bottom of the wildflower field lies afon Alaw/river. It is a wonderful spot to go trout fish spotting and take in the breathtaking countryside views. We have our own beehives on the river bank and we sell our own Bedo honey!! Myself and my partner Lowri will be available during your stay and our aim is to ensure that you have a very enjoyable and relaxing stay here at Glampio Bedo/Glamping. We have a Fox-red labrador called Sionyn that might come and say hello to you! Glampio Bedo/Glamping is located in Llanfachraeth, Anglesey, Wales. There is a gin distilery on site, the home of 'Afallon Mon'. Why not relax with a glass of 'Afallon Mon' gin on the patio/in the garden after a busy day exploring the gorgeous Isle of Anglesey. Anglesey is known for its beaches and ancient sites. Llanfachraeth is a rural, countryside village 6.2 miles east of Holyhead. There is a shop and pub in the village, which is only a short walking distance from the glamping site. 'Cwt Bugail Bedo' is only 3.2 miles away from the stunning Porth Tywyn Mawr which is also known as Sandy Beach, and for a good reason! We are 4.4 miles from the quiet seaside village of Trearddur Bay. Here you can relax and enjoy breathtaking scenery including award winning beaches and enjoy the numerous cafes and restaurants that the village has to offer. Another beautiful village close by to us which is a must see is Rhosneigr. 12 miles from Glampio Bedo/Glamping with its array of places to eat and drink. This is a haven for water sports enthusiasts as Rhosneigr is renowned for its surfing, wind surfing, kite surfing and wakeboarding. Glampio Bedo/Glamping is perfectly located for those of you who enjoy walking/cycling as we are close to the Anglesey Coastal Path route- Holyhead to Porth Trwyn (Llanfaethlu). There are various paths and routes surrounding for you to explore! We are only a short drive away from Valley where there are an array of shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaways for you to enjoy and also supermarkets in Holyhead. For those of you who enjoy adventurous activities, we are located 20 minute' drive away from the Ribride in Menai Bridge, and 30 minutes from Zip World Bethesda, where you can experience the longest zip line in Europe. Llanfachraeth is a good 20 minute' drive from Britannia Bridge and is easily accessed via the A55 Expressway, ideal for easy access to everything Anglesey has to offer as well as fast route to Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. The nearest bus stop is only 0.5 miles from the glamping site and there are taxi firms close by. We are 3.2 miles from the village of Valley where there is a train station and you could catch a train to Rhosneigr! We are located near one of the Anglesey Coastal Path routes- Holyhead to Porth Trwyn Llanfaethlu. Holyhead Port is a mere 6.6 miles away. The Port connects Wales with Ireland. Both Stena Line and Irish ferries operate here daily. Afallon Mon gin distillery on site.
