Abergavenny is a perfect base to explore the Brecon Beacons and South Wales. Our home is situated in a historic Redrow development on the site of a Victorian asylum. There are beautiful grounds to enjoy. The house is a three storey town house. The ground floor bedroom has a double bed, facilities for tea and coffee making and a designated shower room in the adjacent room. The house is accessed with a key, which you will get from your host. The front door does not lock on closure so will need to be locked. My parents, Jeanette and Allen are your hosts, they live in the house and are generally available most of the time for any queries. Abergavenny train station is 15 minutes away and the bus station only 10 minutes on foot. Cities of Cardiff, Newport and Hereford are all easily accessed. The delightful town centre is 15 minutes walk away, with plenty of independent shops and restaurants for you to explore. On street parking is available on the estate. The townhouse has a garage and is the perfect place for storing bikes if cycling in the area.
