Quiet rural setting close to Te Awamutu with friendly hosts. A perfect place to base yourself while exploring the local area. A self-contained space with its own sitting room, two bedrooms and a full bathroom. A private entrance is an added bonus. Free wifi, freeview TV and a continental breakfast provided. There is a private outdoor patio space, with table and chairs to enjoy the warm evenings. Would best suit 1 or 2 couples travelling together or families. Wake up to a stunning rural vista! We offer 2 double bedrooms with a full bathroom, and a private sitting room with tea making facilities, a microwave and an outside BBQ. Free wifi and freeview TV. A cot is available at no extra charge. We are a working farmlet, in a semi-rural area. Please ask us if you would like to be introduced to the animals, help collect the eggs or feed the cattle. We have a friendly cat, Sammy, who believes he owns the place. Continental breakfast invludes: cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast and condiments such as jam and honey. Tea and plunger coffee is included. During major local local events such as feilddays we require a minimum of 2 nights stay. We do our best to meet all guests, but do provide a lock box for the keys, in case wehave another commitment. check in is from 2.00pm onwards. Check out is 11 am (or later by request). Plenty of off-street car parking available. Once booking is confirmed, we will give you our cellphone number. So you are welcome to text or call if we are not at the house with any questions. We have lived in the area our whole life so happy to answer questions about where to go and what to see. We are just outside Te Awamutu at Kihikihi, a small country village and close to everything! The view of the three mountains, Pirongia, Kakepuku and Te Kawa with the setting sun is spectacular from our place. Only- - minutes away from cycle tracks - 3 minutes drive to the local cafes Space centre, viands bakery and Hoops & Scoops (or 20 minute walk along country lanes). - 5 minutes to Te Awamutu - 20 minutes to Mystery Creek - 30 minutes to Hamilton Gardens - 35 minutes to Waitomo Caves and a further 25 minutes to Piopio (Hairy Feet) - 45 minutes to the beaches of Kawhia and Raglan - 45 minutes to Hobbiton (Matamata) - 1hr to Taupo - 1.5 hr to Rotorua You will need your own car to get to us. It is all sealed roads and easy to navigate to, from State Highway 3. Bbq available for guest use.
