Winding River Cottages-The River House

The River House is located directly on the Menominee River. It has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and natural fireplace in an open concept space that is filled with natural light from a multitude of windows. There are three bedrooms on the main floor along with 1 1/2 baths. A fourth bedroom is up the spiral staircase to a master bedroom with a wall of windows over looking the river. There is also a sitting area and a full bathroom. Additionally, there is a small office area, tons of windows throughout, 2 patios, a gas grill, a hammock area, and a fire-pit area. There is a futon that can easily convert in to a full-size bed for additional sleeping space in one of the bedrooms on the main floor. It is connected to the house. There is ample parking on the newly poured concrete driveway. The house is all yours. My husband and I may be around working on a different cottage or doing yard work, but we want you to have all the relaxation you deserve. This property is feet away from the Menominee River--Upper Scott flowage area. This part of the river is quite large and feels more like a lake for water skiing, wave running, tubing, kayaking, fishing, etc... in the summer months. In the winter months, you can ice fish, go snowmobiling, and any other winter sport you would like. The River House is about 5 minutes outside of Marinette, WI. Even though you will be close to all the conveniences of town, you will feel like you are far away from it all. Some road noise will be heard. The kitchen is stocked with all the pots and pans you will need. Being that we are state licensed, we are not allowed to have any condiments, unless they are single-serve only. At this time, we do have single-serve salt and pepper packets available for our guests. We do not have any oil available.
