Beautiful one bedroom private suite with comfy queen side bed. The suite includes a sitting room, overlooking the creek, full bath, coffee nook with small refrigerator, Microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Coffee and 1/2 will be provided. A spiral stair leads you to the private deck with a french door entrance. Enjoy your coffee sitting at the lovely bistro set overlooking the longhouse creek. PLEASE feel free to use the sitting by the property and by the creek. NOTE: NO CLEANING FEE Located in the hamlet of Bellvale in the town of Warwick near the base of Mt. Peter ski slopes. We are just 3 miles drive to downtown Warwick, where many attractions await you. Warwick is known for its many restaurants within walking distance to each other, summer outside concerts series, many wineries, apple orchards and yes, we have a drive in theater, bowling too if interested. Just 3 miles in the other direction brings you to the Village of Greenwood Lake, Orange County's largest body of water. After sitting all week, how about standing on a paddle board, they have them too. Our neighborhood restaurant and pub The Iron Forge Inn has been featured in a couple of movies. Great place for dinner, Lite fare, a cocktail, and you could walk if you're ambitious. (Unfortunately it is closed now due to the Covid virus). Local hiking trails include Appalachian Trail, Cascade Lake Trail, Fuller Mountain, Stairway to Heaven, Fitzgerald Trail, Surprise Lake Trail, Terrace Pond Trail. Three miles from Warwick is Greenwood Lake (the largest lake in Orange County), six miles to Sugarloaf Arts and Crafts Village, 15 minutes to Sterling Forest (New York Renaissance Festival, Spartan Race), 20 minutes to Vernon, NJ, (Mountain Creek Water Park and Ski Mountain as well as Crystal Springs and Minerals Spa), 20 minutes to Woodbury Commons Shopping Outlets in Harriman, NY, Skiing at Mount Peter is just around the corner and offers free lessons for kids.
