Our beautiful cottage has cozy charm and modern amenities. Located on the Esopus Creek, near the town of Phoenicia. Enjoy the restaurants and shops nearby, or cuddle up near a warm fire after hitting the slopes. Relax to the sound of the river after a day of hiking or tubing. One queen bed and one lush futon make this a couples or family get away. Surround yourself with the peace and quiet of nature any time of year. The Catskills are calling.. Our cottage is a renovated 1920’s fishing cottage. The wood floors and river rock fireplace are original. But everything else has been updated to ensure comfort and convenience. Prepare delicious meals on the gas stove and granite countertops or outdoor gas grill. Make use of ample counter space and cooking appliances. Use the French press or standard drip coffee maker, toaster oven and blender are all available for use. Take a step out the double French doors to a private space and follow the forest trail down to the river. Or take a walk down our quiet street to the bridge that spans the Esopus creek. Watch the tubers, grab your fishing poles, or just enjoy the water. Privacy and serenity make this a great place to escape.. Access to multiple ski mountains and a mile from the town of Phoenicia. Located 20 minutes from Woodstock. World famous fishing on the Esopus Creek. Cross country skiing, hiking, tubing, swimming. Breathtaking Katterskill Falls a short drive away. Both Hunter Mountain and Belleayre Ski Center are located 20 minutes away. We prefer to give our guests space but are usually not far away if we are needed.
