Located in the village of Morrisville, this 1893 Victorian has been restored but still retains all of the original charm and elegance of its original construction. Conveniently located at the junctions of routes 100 (N / S) and 15 (E / W) , you have many options afforded you by this location. Just a 5 minute walk to the popular Lamoille county Rail Trail that stretches from St. Johnsbury to St. Albans. Restaurants, bars and shopping make up this hub of the Northeast Kingdom family based town. Wanna ski more than just one ski area? Kayak, bike or hike, we got that too! Lots of wildlife in the village alone. The birds are amazing in the morning as well as evening. This is your central hub to Stowe, Smugglers Notch, Burke & Jay, Montpelier and/ or Craftsbury Touring Center or Trapps! This is the perfect space for many different types of peoples interests and pleasure at an affordable rate. Guests enter through 1st floor Congress Street side door and can be as social or private as they wish. Guests can have the whole 2nd floor to themselves, including a private bathroom and deck. Walking distance to all your needs, P.O., grocery, movies, flowers, dinner and libations. You can walk to the village and get on the rail trail bring your bikes and you could ride all the way to Saint Johnsbury or St. Albans. Snowmobile, X-country ski too There is some public transport but on a rural scale to get you to or from Stowe or Waterbury and /or up to Stowe Mountain Resort! Anywhere from 25 to 40 minutes from Stowe Mountain Resort This is one of 2 rooms I rent out, only one is available at a time due to COVID-19 unless you have the notion to have a party of 5 ski/hiking excursion. If you have more guests than what the bedrooms allow, please contact me as I would like to work out the details with you and your party. Both are upstairs and a full private bathroom, however this room is perfect for couples, family members or friends not wanting to share a bed. I have a small fridge, microwave and hotpot up there as well. The other room is listed under "Village Victorian Morrisville / Stowe". It has just a queen bed Please respect that my home is a "shoeless" home, pls bring slippers. Piano on 2nd floor, if you play, have at it. I have some good traveled knowledge of the surrounding area. I have lived here half my life.
