FAWN HILL

Private upstairs suite For your stay, you have the entire upstairs suite. There are two bedrooms with a queen and king bed. A living space complete with a leather couch, recliner and an Amazon Fire Stick for the TV. There is a dinning space and across is a kitchenette that has a fridge, microwave, Keurig with K cups, and your basic kitchen ware. The space is up a flight of stairs that is connected to the main part of the home. The entryway is semi private through a garage and laundry room. Our guests have access to shared spaces such as on site part parking but most strikingly there is a beautiful shared patio and grilling area over looking beautiful scenery. If you look close enough you will find out why it is called Fawn Hill. Fawn Hill is centrally located to the town of Amherst. It is just over a mile from the center circle in the quiet and coveted Christian Springs Community. Enjoy beautiful sunsets with the Blue Ridge Mountains as a back drop and country starry nights on the patio. Amherst is a quaint little Virginia town with a growing list of shopping and activities. There are multiple breweries, wineries, and restaurants to visit during your stay as well as several boutiques. Grab a coffee from Baines or Ladle and Blade and hit the antique shops! Additionally, we are only 25 minutes from the booming downtown Lynchburg scene! Enjoy an evening out in the many parks or a night on town. If your an outdoorsy person you’re in for a real treat. Fawn Hill is right down the mountain from the Appalachian Trail and within an hour or two of hundreds more. The local rivers are perfect for a lazy day float. There’s indoor climbing at Rise Up in downtown Lynchburg and paved trails there and in the nearby Nelson Co as well. There is plenty to busy yourself with even in this small Virginia town! If your searching for something to do feel free to ask. Amherst is best traveled by car and there are a few Ubers available. The Christian Springs neighborhood is lovely to walk and bike.
