Lake District cottage with free parking

Old Dan's is our welcoming cosy cottage which is warm in winter but light and airy in the summer. Close to all the amenities of Cartmel and it’s popular racecourse. Old Dan’s enjoys a great location. Get a real sense of the beautiful South Lakes area, with its rolling countryside, hilltop view points and lots of woodland and coastal walks on the doorstep. Just 2 miles from the historic and vibrant village of Cartmel, famous for its racecourse and priory. Old Dan’s excellent position gives easy access to the whole of the Lakes District (Holker Hall less than a mile, Grange over Sands - 4 miles, Newby Bridge - 8 miles, Bowness - 15 miles). It’s the ideal base for walking and hiking as there are numerous paths and long distance routes just a stones throw away. Access by rail is straightforward. We are just 10mins walk away from Cark railway station but we have a free parking place right outside and there is on road parking nearby. Well behaved pets are welcome. There is one free parking allocated to the cottage and space on the road for a second car if needed.
