Aniwaniwa Cottage Kopu

Aniwaniwa (Rainbow) Cottage is situated in Kopu at the gateway to the Coromandel. Close to walking tracks, cycle trails or go on a Gold Rush journey with our local historian. We are situated 5 mins from the main township of Thames, 15 mins from main entrance of the Pinnacles. 40 mins to Tairua and Whangamata. After your exploration of our local features come and relax in the comfort of this space. Enjoy a Barbecue on the deck while looking at the star studded sky of Kopu. This is a one bedroom Cottage with capacity to sleep 5 people. A Queen size bed with a triple Bunk. There is a large comfortable couch that can also sleep people if needed. This is a pet friendly property. Please note that there is no wifi cable to cottage, although there is capacity for wifi on the property grounds. We do not require a Vax Passport. All guests are Welcome. There is plenty of parking on the property next to the cottage. We are right next to the Local Matai Whetu Marae and share the same driveway, so please stay on left of Drive and follow the sign to Kopu Temple, which is the name of our Property. There is a notice on the gate to unauthoritzed entry, however, this does not apply to you and is specific to agents, as we move towards being a sovereign community. We enjoy interacting with guests, however we also appreciate givng people their privacy. We are close to the cycle trail, The Bendon Shop, Kopu Cafe, Hunting and Fishing, and the Mobil station. We are 5 mins from Thames township with rivers and historical sites close by We are situated in a small country town close to a light industrial zone. There is plenty of parking in the neighbourshood. We are at the gateway to the Coromandel and close to the main highway, so easy to get around to everywhere from here. This property is known as the Kopu Temple and as such, we offer unique services which include indigenous plant medicines, deep body Mirimiri, cleansing rituals and heart led ceremonies.
