Edinburgh Villas I is a new multi-tenanted building which was architected from the ground up to be energy efficient, safe and functional with all the modern upgrades and conveniences one would reasonable expect at an affordable price. The building is perfectly situated in Edinburgh Gardens which is a 10-minute walk from downtown Chaguanas which has all the conveniences of the major banks, local markets, shopping malls and the traditional roadside vendors which add the local Caribbean charm. Professional and Tranquil Environment All the tenants are like minded professionals who adhere to similar guidelines of no smoking, no loud music, no open alcoholic beverages and no illegal substances. Our long term tenants are representative of Architects, Accountants and Trinidad and Tobago Police Services Officers (TTPS). Security The building has automatic gates, CCTV cameras that cover the external structure and burglar bars on the windows and doors. Parking spots are pre-defined for all registered guests/tenants. The multi-tenanted nature of the building itself is an additional security feature as well since it aligns to the old adage of "safety in numbers". Location, Location, Location As everyone knows, location is very important and surrounding neighbours and the community are representative of the location. Edinburgh Gardens is one of the more established communities with a middle aged to early retirees demographic. As a result, the community is very peaceful (no loud music) and tranquil. Tenure within the Community We have been living in this community for over 45 years, so most of the neighbours or their families are known to us. This provides a level of integration and coexistence for everyone since even the community knows that all our guests (short and long term) are representative with values of the community. Modern New Building The short term stay unit is on the second floor (South Facing) at the rear of the building and is equipped with a fully functional kitchen. It has a four burner gas stove, standard size refrigerator, front loading washer and small appliances (e.g. kettle, toaster and a microwave). The kitchen has been outfitted with pots, pans, plates, flatware and glassware for two guests. The sleeping area is an air-conditioned master bedroom with one queen size bed, cable television, Internet - WIFI, desk and seating area. There is a walk-in closet with ample space for all your clothing. There is an ensuite bathroom with the standard facilities such hot and cold water plumbing, toilet, stand up shower and a pedestal sink. All linens and towels are provided during your stay. For stays exceeding 7 days, linens will be refreshed. There is a private rear balcony perfect for a nice evening retreat for relaxing on the 2nd floor of the building just outside the one bedroom suite. It’s the perfect area to have an enjoyable beverage and watch the sunset. The building is a multi-tenanted building and the space around the exterior of the building is open for all residents For any guests who have an active lifestyle there is a nearby outdoor running track and park that is fully illuminated at night and active during the daytime. We enjoy meeting all guests, but we respect their privacy and space as well. Please feel free to interact with us as much, or as little as you'd like. The building has a Property Manager who will receive all guests during the daytime. Late evening and night arrivals are facilitated via a Lock Box for key access. All guests who are staying within the unit will be asked to provide their Passport for identification verification. This is aligning with the guidelines from the Trinidad Tourism Board, Trinidad Immigration and the Trinidad & Tobago Police Services (TTPS). Edinburgh Villas welcomes like-minded professionals, active lifestyles, guests who are diverse and inclusive while respecting all the house rules which are essentially common sense guides for having a safe and peaceful environment. Edinburgh Gardens is the closest residential area with proximity to Chaguanas. We have lived in the residential community for over 40 years, so all the neighbours are well known to us. Downtown Chaguanas is a ten minute walk from Edinburgh Villas or you can choose to get a taxi which will arrive in probably 3-4 minutes due to the local traffic. Chaguanas is also the central hub for all transportation to the North and South of the island. Taxis, Buses and mini-buses are available for hire within the downtown core. All Public transportation is designated by the first letter of the vehicle license Plate being a "H" which designates "Hired" I travel extensively for work staying over 6 months per year in all major chain hotels and short term stay accommodations. Thus, the short-term unit has been designed with all the essentials for a business travel or a couple looking for a convenient and safe location while visiting family or attending an event in the area. The Property Manager is a retired front-line banking professional who understands customer service and response times. As a result, you will see that we focus on the customer experience from inquiry, initiation, onboarding and departure. Any guests who would like to indulge in excessive alcoholic beverages, illegal substances/activities, disrespect for property and infringing on other residents right to peace and quiet; we cordially invite you to investigate the major chain hotels. These major chain hotels have bars, restaurants, swimming pools, party rooms and security personnel who are equipped to manage the risk of these associated activities.
