Cozy Highland Lakes Winter Getaway

Welcome to complete relaxation at our charming lake house. Our home boasts a wood-burning stove, fire pit, rear deck, a semi-fenced-in backyard, and a basement perfect for extra storage. That means bring your skis, snowboards, tubes, and more with easy access to the outside. We are set for the adventures our guests are looking to enjoy!! You have access to the entire main floor, and open spaces in the basement. There is a room locked in the basement for household items, please do not enter the room. Please also limit foot traffic to the back of the basement as it is unfinished and there are no tenant items to be enjoyed in that space. If you are planning on bringing any outdoor equipment with you (a bike, golf clubs, etc), please use the basement access. The laundry is located in the basement. The charm of our house is made better by its location, just a 4-minute walk to 1 of 7 beaches, a short drive to Mountain Creek Resort, and 15 minutes to Warwick. Guests will have access to 2 car parking in the driveway and 3rd car parking on the street. Please note the streets are a little tight so smaller cars should be on the street. There are several parks located within Highland Lakes as well as the greater Vernon area. Perfect for family adventures or for those who like to experience the beauty that New Jersey trails have to offer. Please reach out with any questions or concerns at any time. First is the drive down beautiful Cannistear (which must be done with windows open when the weather allows), then you are greeted by the slowing pace of the roads until finally coming up on the community. With its lakes, beaches, parks, activity center, and more, this community is always filled with something to do and someone to share it with. Most of the beaches have ample parking. It is easiest to travel by car as most amenities are within a 10-minute drive. If you are planning on using one of the beaches you may purchase a day pass for $1/ day. The property is located in a residential neighborhood that is a part of a Home Owners Association (HOA). Guests are asked to respect the quiet nature of the neighborhood. If you decide to book with us you will be required to provide tenant information for each guest as per our HOA.
