Relax with family or friends in our wooden chalet, with hot tub, indoor and outdoor fireplace. With no close neighbors, reconnect with nature in complete privacy. It's the perfect place to relax or to do outdoor activities. The terrace is huge, you can relax on the sofas or down below on the hammock with a view of the stream. Access to Lac Ménard with slow slope sandy beach (ideal for small children), kayak available. Tennis court (ice rink in winter) close to the chalet. Chalet Rivendell offers both the enjoyment of private indoor and outdoor spaces. Outside you will find: A large terrace with sofas, a table set for 6 seating and a BBQ Two fire pits A spa Two hammocks Plenty of Adirondack chairs for relaxing A parking lot that can easily enter 6 cars. Inside the chalet we offer: ▪ 3 bedrooms, the one on the ground floor offers a king-size bed. The two remaining bedrooms are on the 1st level. One bedroom offers a queen-size bed, and the last bedroom has a bunkbed with double-size beds. ▪ We have a living room with a wood fireplace and a reading area on the ground floor. We offer DVDs as well as several board games for all ages. ▪ There is a large bathroom with a shower, toilet and washer / dryer on the ground floor. On the 1st level you will find a small washroom with toilet and sink. ▪ A fully equipped kitchen with dining area are on the 1st level. ▪ We have two desks that can be used for “working from home”. One is located in the master bedroom on the ground floor and the second one is in the main living area. We provide contact less access to our property. An access code will be provided to you 24 hrs before your arrival. We will not be onsite physically but are available by phone or through email. We want to ensure that your stay is to your utmost satisfaction. Ste-Lucie-des-Laurentides is about a 12 minutes’ drive from Ste-Agathe-des-Monts. In the heart of the village, there’s a nice family restaurant ‘La Grange’ that serves simple but honest dishes. Before entering the village, there’s a small convenience store and a SAQ for emergency shopping. In the village, Lake Ménard is a favoritewith its really nice sandy municipal beach with a slow slope (perfect for young children), located at less than 10 min walk from the chalet. Our kayak/paddle board is attached there, near the small bridge, for your enjoyment. Supermarkets, stores, restaurants and services can be found in Ste-Agathe-Des-Monts. By the way, you should try out the croissants from the bakery ‘Le Pain d’Epi’ located at rue Principale in Ste-Agathe-des-Monts. They are the best ever ! They also have a really good chocolate/hazelnut tarte. Oh and their bread is good is as well. Other things to note *NOISE* We do not tolerate excessive noise indoors or outdoors. *HOT TUB* The hot tub is available year-round. *SMOKING* It is forbidden to smoke in the house. *ANIMALS* Pets are allowed with certain restrictions. We will refuse pets that are not house-trained, that will chew on furniture or that bark excessively. *TV* We have three TV’s in the chalet. In the living room, you can access cable TV, Internet apps (Netflix, …) and a blue ray reader. * FIREPLACE / LOGS * There are two outdoor firepits at your disposal and one inside fireplace. We offer ten logs per stay. If you want to get more, you can buy some in the village.
