The Arthouse

The ArtHouse is the listing name given to the Old Drugstore in Axbridge, Somerset which is the creative home of photographer Barry Cawston and the Globe Studio in the garden The Drugstore has five large bedrooms and the Globe can sleep four people and there is a single mattress in the house if needed. Guests will have exclusive access to the whole house Myself or a friend will be around to let guests in on arrival and help with any issues. Axbridge is an old medieval town that was on the trading route from Cornwall to London, off the beaten track, it still boasts three local pubs and a tea shop, all serving great food. It is a great location for exploring the Mendip Hills, the Somerset Levels and beyond Axbridge is an hour from Bristol, Weston-super-Mare and Wells and only 40 mins from Glastonbury. You can also walk or cyle over the Mendips Hills to Cheddar Gorge with wonderful views over the Somerset Levels
