A secluded and comfortable retreat, the Summerhouse is a charming wooden chalet nestled amongst 2 acres of wild rural land and beautiful mature trees on Mill Farm. Well-equipped with creature comforts including hot running water & shower, a superking-size bed and 2 single beds (day bed and trundle bed, suitable for either children or adults), dining table & chairs for 4, electric hob and oven, washing machine, fridge/freezer and heaters, outdoor firepit/bbq and outdoor folding chairs. Watch the night sky from the veranda under the twinkling solar lights. Or sip your morning coffee on the veranda, accompanied by birdsong. You might even see the odd pheasant or peacock! Parking available. The historic Battle Abbey a 6 minute drive away, with teashops in Battle High Street; Hastings beach and the Norman fortress of Hastings Castle easily accessible, 20 minutes by car. Lots of things to do in the area, including paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking at Bodiam (12 mins by car) and Bodiam Castle. Wonderful walks in this Area of Natural Beauty, including Battle Great Woods, a 5 minute drive away. The beaches of Bexhill-on-Sea and St. Leonards also a short drive away. There will be someone available to check you in and there will be a contact number for any emergencies. Quiet Countryside location, in the small village of Whatlington. Parking provided onsite, 1 minute walk to the summerhouse. Space for more than 1 car.
