The cozy kitchen features a breakfast nook, black retro style fridge and original 1960's cabinets. Livingroom has plenty of books, short wave transistor radio, large screen monitor, and a Daikin mini split for instant room temp change. Newly updated vinyl plank flooring and vinyl windows keep it guest friendly while maintaining that vintage vibe! Feel free to park under the carport, in the driveway, or on the grass by the street. Don't block the property next door please. Ask about the key. I will not be on the property with you but I can always help you with questions or advice about the local attractions. As former Postmaster of several Lower Columbia towns, I'm a bevy of knowledge so just ask! It's a mid century neighborhood with a sprinkling of Victorians. The Pioneer Cemetery next door is fascinating. Many folks born during the civil war era. 1835 was the oldest I've found so far. Northern European emigrants, loggers, traders, fishermen and soldiers! Intriguing. About 40 min to Astoria OR, 75 min to Portland Vancouver Metro. 100% walk score! Enjoy our murals, parks, taverns and the shops of local artisans. Major chain grocery and pharmacy close by. And on Saturday you can walk to the Farmers Market to enjoy local fare and live music. Monthly stays welcomed!
